Our Mission Statement
The Daughters of Wyrd, including its Wood, its Hearth, Grove, Academy, Sanctuary, and Community is open to all persons without regard to race, creed, religion, culture, class, sexual preference, or ethnicity. The Woods Of Wyrd in whole is a proactive educational network and social network built on a foundation of interdisciplinary learning, cohesion, unification, and achieving peace. We encourage, publish and teach our tradition, other traditions, and the arts associated with them. Nature Worship has been regarded as the foundation of all religions. and we respect the power of Rituals, Prayers, and Affirmations. We also respect and value those who do not believe in a divine concept and those who get their answers through means other than prayer.

The Dragons Hearth Academy and Seminary is a spiritual organization which provides spiritual education, religious ordination through the Sanctuary of Wyrd, intensive training, worship and healing services, rites of passage facilitation, community outreach and pastoral counseling. and practical training in leadership, ministry, and personal growth in Pagan and Nature-Based spirituality. The Sanctuary provides a place of "work-ship" and learning for all those who seek enlightenment and universal knowledge - offering a haven for all who value love, tolerance, and community. In areas where students lack knowledge we provide accessible information in, including but not limited to, leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and other much needed coursework information. The Seminary also assists those who seek to empower and enrich our fellow humans utilizing the ability to provide Magical and Spiritual Training through weekend sessions, online resources, Pagan Rites of Passage, and Rituals. We protect our children and leave any education to the decision of the parents.

The same general moral code should be observed recognizing we are all equals, treat others as we would wish, including any malicious actions are wrong. The Dragons Hearth Academy provides an environment which creates religious and spiritual cyber-community, interacting within the online Pagan community, providing information about the Academy and its educational courses readily available for the students and visitors which include forums, chat rooms, videos, and other media without hinging its entirety in online religion. Classes offered online will be conducted via email and other internet based forums, thus creating world-wide-web social connections. We believe that all men and women should be given the opportunity to become useful citizens, do meaningful work, to encourage and help others find their purpose and achieve a healthy self-image. We believe in allowing individual responsibility for self and spiritual growth.

This organization will also provide spiritual counseling, hospital and prison ministries with special needs ministries forthcoming as well as the possibility of Midwifery training, Death training, and training for Pagan Clergy interested in becoming more deeply involved in these and other types of ministries and training. Additionally, the Academy serves as an outreach group providing resources to assist in dispelling myths and misconceptions about Paganism within the general community, To educate members, visitors, and the public about real world Pagans, dissolving misconceptions and allaying potential fears. and to provide resources for religious freedom issues while educating both Pagans and Non-Pagans in our area and abroad via online access to our information.
