The Daughters Of Wyrd continually progresses forward to work towards creating and continuing an active pagan community in Stamford, New York and assisting in the development of pagan concepts and attitudes for living in the present age, to encourage communication and understanding among people of different traditions and theologies, to provide opportunities for shared spiritual experience, and to help educate the general public concerning Earth spirituality.

    Our work is financed entirely by private contributions from those supporting our services.  This is an area where help is needed the most in order to cover the costs of facility rentals, website upkeep and development, the cost of printing and publishing study materials, mailing letters, providing materials and grants to low income students, providing materials for inmates in between our in person visits, the food banks we support locally, and nature preservation endeavors.  Our Academy and Temple are currently run entirely by volunteers who share their time, knowledge, and expertise to offer the wide range of educational, counseling, networking, and other spiritual services that The Daughters Of Wyrd provides.

    At this time, we currently are looking for facilities in Stamford, New York or areas within Delaware County to host events, gatherings, and meetings as a permanent establishment.  We are teaching courses, providing spiritual counseling, and leading rituals. Additionally, we are also providing courses via correspondence to many Hearths, Groves, and Solitaries across the nation.

    We plan to actively search to purchase land in New York.  On the land we would like to:

Create a intentional community for pagans by pagans;
           Tiny homes and buildings built on the land
           Temple and Ritual Grounds
           Educational programs about Agriculture and Off Grid Living
               Vegetable and Herbal Gardens
               Farming where possible: Cows, Chickens, Goats
           Community Grave Yard
           Festival Grounds with Camping

    Our role in the community goes beyond grants and public service. We bring people together to discuss local community problems and work to find creative solutions. And, we work to help donors achieve their charitable objectives now and for generations to come.
