We are a group of Pagans who come together for community. Our meetups, our forums, and our gatherings are designed to offer a friendly, relaxed, and safe environment for those who are seeking community or to learn. We have many experienced and gracious members offering information and to help with answering questions. Below are some rules to follow while you are a member of The Woods Of Wyrd:

Membership shall not be denied on race, gender, sexual preference, or age.  However, membership may be denied if the person is a member of another coven, church, or religious organization.

The Hearth functions as a close community similar to an extended family. For this reason the membership requirements are limiting. Other people may be better served by nearby covens.

Prospective members need to shed old, outdated beliefs and leave behind old concepts they were raised with. Pleasure and joy is the way or our Gods, not our sin.

We celebrate the divine dance of duality and union of Gods and Goddesses in ritual and practice. Members need to reflect the divine polarity in their lives.

Members must be willing to make group activities a high priority.  The Hearth Of The Crystal Dragons, like many covens, tend to become a close-knit "extended family.  We love, respect and support the needs of each other. Regular participation of all members is essential.

There should be no conflict with other family members or relatives.  Prospective members need to resolve any conflicts with their family that may interfere with your growth.  It is good for married couples to join together, but it is not required.

Members need to be emotionally stable and mature. The Clergy can and do provide spiritual counseling for members.  We are not psychologists and cannot provide mental health support for mental illness, however we can direct people to those resources.

Members must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.  Those under eighteen (18) years of age must have written consent and signature from their parents or guardians.  Young adults are the future of our religion and spiritual practices, and are most welcome with supervision if under twelve (12) years of age.

 

Members may have only one account on this forum.

Members need to be honest and willing to show their real selves, not a facade.

Members need to be physically healthy by taking care of their bodies, and have no significant contagious diseases.

Members must have their mundane life in order, and be financially stable and responsible.

Members should not have chemical addictions: no smoking, drug dependency, or alcohol abuse. Drinking is good, drunkenness is not. Addictions are harmful to the person, yet we understand in times of stress one needs a smoke, a coffee, or some form of outlet.  Be courteous around those who do not partake of such things and smoke in designated areas.

Member's display names can not be email addresses. This rule is in place to protect you from spam bots who will pick up your email address and spam you.

All members will be granted access to a community discussion board that may be accessed by this website after registration.  Please protect and remember your password.

Message board contains it's own set of specific rules that must be agreed upon prior to participation.

Your membership can be discontinued at any time you wish however all the rules, terms and conditions will continue to apply after termination of membership.

We may cancel your membership at anytime with no notification required.

At any time the following but not limited to may be subject to change: Rules, regulations, terms, conditions, tuition fees,  and beyond as The Woods Of Wyrd and its parts evolves as it adapts to growth which will be inevitable in the future.

 

All information and instructions given within these forums is to be used at your own risk. By following or using any of this information you give up the right to hold The Woods Of Wyrd liable for any damages.

If a topic is posted in a forum that is not appropriate for the question, the staff has the right to move that topic to another better suited forum.

The Woods Of Wyrd, and all its parts, is founded on the idea of community and for the well being and health of our community the following are items you promise to not commit:

    Use a false email address, false identity, impersonate another person, misrepresent yourself, 

     misrepresent your affiliation with other organizations, mislead other members;

 

     Use vulgar or violent images, pornography, or profanity as a avatar or in posts;

    Any form of racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, ableism, sizeism, jingoism, classism, and

     transphobia;

    Bullying, embarrassing, or shaming members in any body type, physical expression, disability,

     expression of thoughts and opinions, or adornment;

    Violation of the sovereignty of another;

 

     Posting any copyrighted material on our forums without consent in written form by the creator;

 

     Posting links in order to generate affiliate commissions.




Common Courtesy

No member shall use another's craft name outside the hearth, grove, forums, academy, temple, or otherwise, unless they have permission to do so.

Members shall be formally introduced with their full name and title when introduced.

Members can clearly state what they wish to be called so long as it is not against our rules.

No member shall reveal another's identity outside The Woods Of Wyrd without that person's oral or written permission. (This includes birth name in conversation to another person, or personal information on the internet.)

Any person who violates any portion of these rules and guidelines, purposely disrupts the harmony of the Hearth, Community, forums, or Discord chat, or refuses to adhere to the simple requirements of "civility, tolerance, and respect" will be removed from the Hearth (and removed from the website, discord, meetup and/or Temple premises, if necessary) and membership terminated.
